After breakfast depart on a Full day Tour of the Cape Winelands, located around one hour from Cape Town, our full day tour of the Winelands takes us through some of the Cape’s most beautiful
scenery.  You will sample a variety of wines at two wine estates and then have a relaxed lunch at Spier Winery.  You will also have the opportunity to see how the wines are produced and matured in a Cellar Tour.

After your Winelands Tour transfer back to the Table Bay Hotel.  Evening at leisure.

Breakfast at the Table Bay Hotel.

After breakfast depart on a Half Day City Tour followed by a visit to the top of Table Mountain (weather permitting). 

To reach the top of Table Mountain you travel by cable car. The top of Table Mountain offers spectacular views in all directions and gives a bird’s eye view of the city. The upper cable car station is situated at 1067 metres and the revolving cable car makes sure that your trip up and down gives you a good look in all directions.
Once on top you can follow paths to various look-outs, make use of the telescopes and enjoy a light meal or simply a sundowner drink in the restaurant. In summer, early evening is a great time to plan your trip as the sunsets are beautiful. Regardless of the weather, take a windbreaker as it can often be cool on the mountain top.

At the conclusion of the tour the group will head down to the Waterfront for a casual lunch (own account) before travelling out to Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela spent 27 years behind bars.  This is a fascinating visit where some of the ex inmates actually lead you through the prison giving you an insight on what it was like to spend time behind bars in this infamous prison.

Morning at leisure.  At lunchtime depart Sun City for Ivory Tree Game Lodge situated in Pilanesberg Game Reserve (+- 35 Km’s approximately 40 minutes).

IVORY TREE GAME LODGE is situated in the North Eastern Region of the Pilanesberg National Park.  Nestled in the basin of an ancient amphitheatre divided by Riverrine Woodlands and Elephant Trails lies this exclusive lodge.  The main building includes a stunning feature pool, bar, conference room, dining room and Boma.

Pilanesberg National Park covers an area of 55,000 hectares and is situated in the North West Province in an eroded volcano which is millions of years old. This park is unique because it is the result of one of the biggest ever game translocations with over 6,000 animals having been relocated to Pilanesberg since 1979. There is a wide diversity of animals including "the Big Five" (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo) as well as 30 other large mammal species, 350 birds and 65 reptiles.
