On arrival you will be met by a CCM Travel representative and transferred to the Sheraton New York Hotel, your home for the following 5 nights.  The Sheraton New York is conveniently located on 7th Avenue at 53rd Street, a short walk to many of the famous attractions you will wish to visit.  Times Square, Central Park, 5th Avenue, Empire State Building are just a few minutes stroll from your front door.

The evening is at leisure to sample some of the fabulous restaurants this vibrant city has to offer.

Wednesday 12th November
NEW YORK - Half Day City Sightseeing Tour

This morning you will depart the hotel at 9.00am for an orientation tour of mid and lower Manhattan.  Drive down 5th Avenue past icons such as Tiffanys, Bergdorf Goodmans and Trump Tower, past Central Park, Soho and Greenwich Village, Chinatown and Little Italy, time to visit Ground Zero and a photo stop at Battery Park for a view of the ever famous Statue of Liberty.

The afternoon is at leisure to discover the city on your own. 

 

Thursday 13th November
NEW YORK – Atlantic City Educational Tour

Today you will depart Manhattan at 9.00 for a full day tour to visit the newest casinos of Atlantic City, New Jersey, and it's better than ever! .Having gone through a gradual transformation, this once dusty city is now offering Spas,  world-class entertainment, up to the minute nightlife, fine dining, ocean boardwalk,  golf, fun attractions, fishing, water sports, shopping and of course big name casinos. Any way you look at it, Atlantic City guarantees fast-paced excitement and non-stop activities.  You will be met by the Gaming Slots Manager of the Borgata Casino and Trump Tower for an inspection of the gaming floors and afterwards you will have time to wander the boardwalk and explore the older venues such as Tropicana, Trump Taj Mahal and Caesars.

Arrival in the Manhattan will be approximately 6pm.  This evening is at leisure and may we suggest booking a Broadway show. Long running shows such as Hairspray, The Producers, The Lion King – these are playing at theatres only minutes from your hotel.

Friday 14th November
NEW YORK – Connecticut Casinos Educational Tour

Today you will depart the hotel for the very scenic drive to Connecticut where you will visit the Native American Casinos - Foxwood and Mohegan Sun.  Both have operated successfully for many years and the expansion is enormous.  These casinos are owned by the tribes of the regions and the profits are distributed to the members in the form of payments, education, health and employment.  Both are popular with day trippers from New York State where gaming is illegal at this stage. We will be met by the Gaming Slots Manager of each casino for an inspection of the gaming floor.

This evening you will arrive in Manhattan at around 5.30 – 6.00pm.

Tonight is at leisure to explore the restaurants and nightlife of The Big Apple.  New York has amazing restaurants and you can dine on any cuisine you care to try.  Some very famous restaurants are owned by actors and have rose to fame for their innovative design as well as imaginative food styles.  Nobu – Japanese fusion, Tao – Eastern fusion, Tribeca Grill – fine International/American fare are just a few you should visit

Saturday 15th November
NEW YORK - Day at Leisure

Your last day and it has been left free for you to enjoy the sites and sounds of New York.  To see a different perspective of New York, take the Circle Island cruise – very informative and many photo opportunities during this 3 hour boat trip; visit the Guggenheim; The Metropolitan Museum of Art; The Natural History Museum; ride the 96 floors to the top of the Empire State Building for a bird’s eye view of Manhattan (you must be early); or just walk the walk and talk the talk on Fifth Avenue.

Sunday 16th November
NEW YORK / LAS VEGAS

This morning you will transfer to New York’s JFK Airport for your direct flight to Las Vegas.

On arrival in Las Vegas you will be met and transferred by private motor coach to the Mirage Resort and Casino where you will be accommodated for the following 5 nights.  Located at the northern end of the “Strip”, the Mirage has undergone a renovation of its rooms in the past year and as we saw during the 2007 tour, the public areas, bars and restaurants have recently been upgraded to a more modern and chic style. 

 

Monday 17th November
LAS VEGAS – Station Casino Tour

Today you will have transfer to the suburbs to see the very successful local casinos run by the Station group – Green Valley Ranch and Red Rock Casino and Spa.  Whilst these casinos are predominantly attracting the local market, more and more tourists are opting for the quieter lifestyle at the resorts.  We will be met by the Gaming Slots Manager of Red Rock Casino for an inspection of the gaming floor lunch is included at the Salt Lick BBQ restaurant. 

Upon your return, your badges for the G2E Conference and Expo will be available for collection.

Evening at leisure.  Las Vegas has some of the best restaurants and bars in the USA and possibly the world.  Too many to list – your tour guides can assist with recommendations. 

Las Vegas is also known for its amazing shows.  Visit www.lasvegas.com for show dates and bookings.  Bette Midler is the latest to join the permanent artists in Vegas and has replaced Celine Dion at Caesars.  We suggest you book these well in advance.  Also, for those who haven’t yet seen a performance of Cirque Du Soleil – this is a must.  Playing at several venues, you can see Ka, La Reve, Mystere, O and the risqué Zumanity.
