Saturday 13th September

Depart Sydney this evening for Venice on Emirates Airlines via Dubai

Sunday 14th September   

Arrive VENICE
On arrival in Venice at 2:15pm  you will be transferred by private coach to the shipping terminal to board your ship -  MSC Musica - where Italian style and personal service for which MSC Cruises is world renowned, combined with state of the art facilities will ensure the touring experience of a lifetime.

At 6:00pm commence your cruise sailing out through the magnificent Grand Canal of Venice making your way south down the Italian Coast through the Adriatic Sea.

Monday 15th September

Arrive BARI at 11:00am
A city on the south east coast of Italy on the Adriatic Sea, it is the second economic centre of southern Italy and is well known as a port and University City, as well as the city of Saint Nicholas. Bari is now mostly a modern industrial city. Neverthless, some of Italy's most interesting and undiscovered areas exist within the province of Bari and the region of Puglia.

Depart Bari at 6:30pm to sail overnight to Greece.

Tuesday 16th September

Arrive OLYMPIA at 12:30pm.

Olympia, the home of the origin of the Olympic Games is one of the most popular destinations for tourists in Greece.  The village of Olympia itself is a collection of tourist shops, cafes, restaurants and a Historical Museum of the Olympic Games. Marvel at the archaeological site of Olympia with it's ancient architecture. A beautiful place to visit and unlike most archaeological sites in Greece which are exposed to the sun and surrounded by vegetation that barely reaches your ankles, Olympia is shaded by tall trees and walking through the ruins can be a peaceful and profound experience.  Depart Olympia at 6:30pm for an overnight sail to spectacular Santorini.

 

Wednesday 17th September

SANTORINI - MYKONOS
Arrive Santorini at 7:00am
On arrival in Santorini you will take the short ride to the port by tender boats and either climb the many steps, take a donkey or ride the cable car to the top of the island.  Known for its stunning views, Santorini is a photographers delight.  Every step you take is yet another breathtaking view of the Caldera and the Aegean Sea.  During the  eight  hour visit to Santorini you must have a coffee in one of the restaurants in the main street – all with million dollar vantage points.  The shopping is fabulous and special bargains can be found in the jewellery stores.   

Depart SANTORINI at 3:00pm for the short sail to Mykonos.

Arrive Mykonos at 8:00pm
Arriving into Mykonos just in time for the night life!  This party island is centered around Mykonos Town. Wander the maze like cobblestone streets full of wonderful restaurants, funky bars, and stunning boutiques.

As you will be there for sunset, we suggest a cocktail at Little Venice to watch the sun slip beyond the horizon whilst listening to the strains of fabulous Greek music.  Enough time to enjoy a drink or two in one of the very cool nightclubs where all the beautiful young Greeks gather. 

Thursday 18th September

MYKONOS – PIRAEUS (ATHENS)   
Depart MYKONOS at 2:00am.   Arrive ATHENS (PIRAEUS) at 9:00am.

Piraeus is Greece's third largest city in terms of population and its biggest port. The commercial harbour of Piraeus is one of the most important in the Mediterranean.

Today you will visit the the famous site of the Acropolis.  This ancient monument stands proudly overlooking the whole of Athens.  Building commenced on this magnificent structure in 447BC when Athenians were in the height of power.   Your tour places the group in the centre of Athens and free time will be left for  you  to wander the narrow streets of The Plaka.   From the Plaka the you will be transferred to Microlimino – literally meaning Little Bay – where dozens of waterside seafood restaurants produce the freshest of the day’s catch.  Dine on Taramasalata, Calamari, Prawns Saganaki, BBQ whole fish to the strains of the Bouzouki music.  

Depart ATHENS at 5:30pm. 

Friday 19th September

PIRAEUS – CORFU – DUBROVNIK
                    
Arrive Corfu at 2:30pm
Corfu is one of the most interesting islands of the Ionian so prepare yourself for an unparalleled experience. Situated to the north of the Ionian Sea at the entrance of the Adriatic it is the second largest island in the group known as the seven islands. The island of miracles and wonders, where every moment the scene changes without affecting the harmony of the terrain. Corfu, the most green of the Greek islands, has three million olive trees. As well as flower-strewn countryside and Adriatic-style villages, it has splendid coastal scenery and some excellent secluded beaches. On this cosmopolitan island, you'll be able to combine relaxation with good times as Corfu is an international tourist centre of Greece. 

Depart CORFU @ 8:00pm

 

Saturday  20th September

Arrive Dubrovnik at 8:30am
A stop in Dubrovnik will allow time to discover this Dalmation City on the Adriatic Coastline.  Visit the forts, towers and walled area of the old city.  This area is fastly becoming the latest hot spot for Australians to visit – be amongst the few to see it still in it’s unspoilt state.    

 2:30 pm    Depart Dubrovnik – Evening at Sea .

Sunday 21st September

Arrive Venice at 8:00am
After disembarkation you will be met and escorted on a city tour through this romantic city.  At the completion of the tour check in at the WESTIN EXCELSIOR HOTEL where you are confirmed overnght.  Tonight you will finish your European experience with the ILG Venetian Gala Dinner.

Monday 22nd September

Depart your hotel at midday for Venice Airport to commence your homeward journey.  

Depart VENICE on Emirates at 3:45pm nonstop to Dubai.  

Arrive DUBAI @ 11:35pm. 

You will be transferred to an airport hotel for an overnight stay.

Tuesday 23rd September

Depart DUBAI on Emirates at 10:00am this morning to SYDNEY

 

Wednesday 24th September

Arrive SYDNEY early morning.
